So the 2-year shamanic studies program begins in September. Thats only a few weeks away! Wow, I can’t believe its already here. This is something I’ve been thinking about for several years now, and my excitement level is getting higher by the day.

I finally got my actual application sent in, which I was totally slacking on, but I’m glad that part of the process is done. I definitely have a feeling of commitment now that I didn’t have before. Even though I had already paid my deposit, filling out and sending in the app marked the final step of finishing all the steps to commit to them I’m going to do this. I guess maybe that was why I had been slacking a bit. I think maybe some small doubts still lingered and it was my way of holding out just a little longer before fully committing.

Whatever it was, I’ve definitely moved beyond it and am focused now on getting out there for our first meeting.
